SSC Recruitment: Good news for job seekers. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will recruit staff for nearly a thousand vacancies. Staff will be recruited to the post of Junior Engineer for various Departments, Ministries and Service Areas of the Centre. A notification has been issued in this regard on Thursday.
Vacancy
A total of 968 vacancies of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) will be recruited by the Commission. That will be appointed in the Central Government Agency / Department / Ministry such as Border Roads Organization, Central Public Works Department, Central Water Commission etc.
Age
Interested job candidates should be between 30 or 32 years of age to apply for the respective posts. Reserved candidates have age relaxation as per government norms.
Salary
According to the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the monthly pay scale of employees will be Rs. 35,400-1,12,400.

Recruitment process
Candidates will be recruited by merit verification through computer based test. The probable date of recruitment exam is 4th to 6th June.
