Anganwadi Worker Recruitment: Good news for job seekers. The process of recruitment of 35 thousand Anganwadi workers has started in West Bengal state. The state government is starting the recruitment process for more than 35 thousand workers and assistants in the vacancies of Anganwadi centers. The recruitment process has already started in some districts. Minister of Women, Children and Social Welfare Department Shashi Panja said this in the Legislative Assembly on Friday.
Educational qualification
According to the new rules of the center, the minimum educational qualification for applying for both the posts of Anganwadi workers and assistants should be higher secondary pass. Until now, one could apply for the post of assistant only after passing the eighth standard.
Vacancy
There are a total of 1 lakh 19 thousand 481 Anganwadi centers in West Bengal. Each center has one female worker and assistant. At present 21 thousand 492 staff and 13 thousand 906 assistant posts are vacant. In all, the number of vacancies is 35 thousand 398.
Age
Earlier the age limit for recruitment was 18 to 45 years. That too has been reduced from 18 to 35 years.
Salary
In all, Anganwadi workers get an allowance of Rs 8,350 and helpers Rs 6,300.
Recruitment process
Navanna will complete the recruitment process through the special committee headed by the District Magistrate. Various districts have already released recruitment circulars in this regard. Other districts will also release notification soon. Information should be taken at district-wise local level to give details.
