WBSSC: Primary Education Board President Gautam Pal has opened up about the appointment of primary teachers.  He said that the initial appointment will be made after getting the permission of the Supreme Court.  The Board President said taking State Education Minister Bratya Basu by his side.  On Thursday, Gautam Pal once again clarified why the ongoing Primary Teacher Recruitment in the state was stopped.

Gautam Pal said in a press conference with education minister Bratya Basu sitting next to him on Thursday, "The state government wants to make appointments quickly."  The recruitment is stuck in legal entanglement.  New appointments are not possible initially until the permission of the Supreme Court is obtained.

The president of the council said, 'The state government wants to provide jobs.  That action is also being taken.  I talk to job seekers every day.  2014 batch says, give us jobs.  2017 batch says, just give us.  Both batches are taking to the court against each other.

At the same time, he said, "No one is suing the board."  The board is being sued as a party.  We cannot publish the panel unless we get permission from the Supreme Court. The education minister supported the statement of the board president.  He said, "We will take the next step once we get the order of the Supreme Court."

Incidentally, the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has already completed the interview process for the recruitment of primary teachers for the year 2022.  According to board sources, work is going on fast to determine the final result.  In the meantime, due to the Supreme Court's stay, the results are getting delayed.  The West Bengal Board of Primary Education will announce the results once the Supreme Court's stay is lifted, said the president of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
